KRISTIN TAYLOR holds a master’s degree in counseling psychology and is trained as a narrative therapist. When working as a therapist, she served individual clients and groups in hospital settings, homeless shelters and mental health crisis centers. For the past twelve years, she has worked exclusively in higher education; she started as a student success coach at InsideTrack, and later trained and directed teams of coaches to drive greater student persistence and retention for partner colleges and universities. She has developed her own narrative coaching method; an amalgamation of strength based coaching and narrative and cognitive behavioral approaches to managing anxiety, stress, change and inspiring transformation. In the past two years, she started her own business as a student success consultant and principal coach. Kristin Taylor Consulting, LLC partners with nonprofits, colleges and universities to design and deliver individual and group coach training and mentoring and digital coaching interventions using her narrative coaching methodology.
